City Council
The City of Aurora, Missouri is a third class city that operates under the City Manager-Council form of government. Five Council members are elected at large. Each year after the Council reorganization the five council members appoint a mayor and mayor pro tem for the next year. Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. at 2. W. Pleasant, in the Council Chambers located on the third floor of City Hall.
City Hall
City Hall is open to the public each day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
City Hall is closed on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. for lunch. The
Sewer and Tax Collection Office closes each day at 4:30 p.m.
Driver's License Testing
Testing is held every Monday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 3rd floor of City Hall in the Council Chambers for Driver's permit and License testing. Motorcycle testing will be held on the same day at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. No appointment is necessary.
