The City of Aurora is accepting applications for the position of Police Patrol Officer.  Applicants must be Missouri POST certified, possess a valid MO driver’s license, demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, and be in good physical condition and health.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, and may be obtained at the Aurora Police Department, P.O. The Aurora Police Department is seeking a full-time Communications Officer. Responsibilities include: answering Enhanced 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls for public safety services; classifying calls for service; radio dispatching of Police, Fire and EMS units; operating a Computer Aided Dispatch System and many other related duties. Experience preferred but not required. Must be available any shift and have no criminal history. Starting pay with no previous experience is $10.23/hour plus benefits.
