The Aurora Police Department is seeking a full-time Communications Officer. Responsibilities include: answering Enhanced 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls for public safety services; classifying calls for service; radio dispatching of Police, Fire and EMS units; operating a Computer Aided Dispatch System and many other related duties. Experience preferred but not required. Must be available any shift and have no criminal history. Starting pay with no previous experience is $10.23/hour plus benefits.
