Aurora Fire Department

The Aurora Fire Department, established in 1887, serves an area of approximately 35 square miles.

The department is staffed with seven full-time and 31 volunteer personnel operating out of two stations, utilizing:

Services

The department provides a wide range of emergency and non-emergency services, including:

  • BLS First Responders

Insurance Service Office

Currently, the department holds an ISO (Insurance Service Office) rating of 5, which helps ensure low rates for residential and commercial hazard insurance in Aurora.
