In order to ensure that the City of Aurora will continue to deliver essential services to the Aurora community, and minimize the possibility of disruption of those services, the City of Aurora is taking the following actions regarding COVID19.
Effective Immediately, the Aurora City Hall will be closed to the public. City Services will continue to operate, and citizens will be able to continue to receive needed services. Coordination of any services can be accomplished over the phone or through the online portals on the City of Aurora web page.
Payment of sewer utility bills can be completed through the City of Aurora website, or by calling City offices at: 417-678-5121 Ext. 22 Sewer Utility bills may also be paid by dropping off payment in the payment drop off box located on the South side of City Hall. Check or money order only, please put your payment in an envelope and include your sewer bill with your payment.
DO NOT LEAVE CASH IN THE DROP OFF BOX.
For Community Development services such as building permits, demolition permits, etc. please call the Community Development office at 417-678-5121 Ext. 31.
Most services that are needed can be accomplished over the phone or through the City of Aurora’s website. Staff will be willing to work with you to make suitable arrangements for any service that you may need.
